SINGER/SONGWRITER

Atlanta-based singer/songwriter Amy Zuspan (formerly Palys) melds candid lyrics and soulful vocals with an indie edge. Drawing on her experience as a jazz vocalist, she skillfully blends contemporary rock with fusion in her debut album 'Playing Field' and returns with another dose of honesty, allegiance, and a spoonful of disappointments in her sophomore project 'The Same Way'.

Amy emerged onto the Atlanta music circuit in 1999 when she was chosen to battle it out as a finalist in the Lilith Fair Talent Search (won by Jennifer Nettles). A New Hampshire native and student of music since age six, Amy sang in in her high school’s Select Choir earning top scores in both NH All-State and All-State Jazz Choirs, played alto and baritone saxophone for the Explorers Wind Symphony, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia State University with a BMU in 2000. She has performed throughout the Southeast at venues including Eddie's Attic, Smith's Olde Bar, Red Light Café, Dark Horse Tavern, Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta, 40 Watt, Velvet Elvis, Tasty World, the Biltmore Estates, Woodruff Arts Center, Fernbank Museum, and various festivals with bands including the Amy Zuspan Band, Limelight, Atlanta Beat, US Beat, the Alan Knieter Orchestra, Sean & Amy Acoustic Duo.

Amy has also performed at the Fox Theatre as a tap dancer in the Atlanta Ballet’s production of ‘Juke’ and has dabbled in the Atlanta theater scene in shows at the Kudzu Playhouse, Polk Street Players, and Center Stage North. She has worked on voice over projects for The Home Depot, DMX Music, and Blue Orchid Productions and is currently in production with new music. She looks forward to seeing you at the next show!
